BSOD hal.dll+12903 and ntoskrnl.exe+186513

Hello everyone.

Recently in the past 2-3 weeks i have been getting at least BSOD every day (sometimes 2-3 per day). After getting fed up with the constant BSOD while playing League of Legends i finally decided last night to do a clean install of Windows 7. Thinking my BSOD problems were probably over lo and behold i got another one today. So i'm coming to this great forum for help.

If there's anything else that's needed please let me know.

This appears to be a hardware issue.

List your system specifications as its useful in these sorts of scenarios:
System Info - See Your System Specs

Test your hardware to see if we can locate the culprit:

CPU tests:
CPU - Stress Test Using IntelBurnTest
Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95

Video card test:
Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

RAM test: run a minimum of 8 passes
RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Well i did Video Card, CPU and HDD tests and they all passed. The ram test also passed with the program that comes with windows. I currently haven't had anymore BSOD after installing and using Throttle Stop alongside RMClock. I have also brought down the video settings to Very Low on League of Legends and still no BSOD for the whole day.

I'll report back if i get another BSOD but currently everything seems to be fixed (for the time being).

Until you run MemTest86+, your RAM hasn't been adequately tested.

Sry for taking so long with replying just been real busy. Anyways i did a Memtest check last night, ran it for almost 16 hrs and after 9 passes i still got 0 errors.

So now the question is if all the tests pass what can it be?

I'm gonna redo the HDD test again to make sure but i have no idea what else can be causing the BSOD. I thought for sure i would get an error on the RAM Test since it looked like RAM would be the culprit.

I'll look at this tonight when I get home.

In the meantime do the HDD check again, and also upload any new dmp filrs if they exist.

According to Blue Screen View, in the last 8 days i've had 8 BSOD (probably more than that). They are all the same error code except for the last one which is hal.dll+12903 and ntoskrnnl.exe+186513

Now a few hours ago my laptop completely shutoff and wouldn't turn on after a good 30 mins (i didn't understand why it would be too hot when i knew there wasn't much dust but figured i'd give it a clean just to see). So i took the opportunity to open it up and clean it. There was a little dust build up but i didn't think it was too much. But after i did that i noticed my temps have dropped about 20 degrees Celsius from my normal temps the past few months.

Anyways after a couple of hours it hasn't shut off nor i BSOD either so hopefully that was the culprit.

I'll report back within a day on weither it keeps crashing or not but hopefully cleaning it up fixed it.

That sounds like you fixed it. Laptops are more susceptible to even minor dust issues because the confined space that the air has to travel through.

Run Intel Burn Test again and upload a screen capture of the results incl. the temperatures from HWInfo.
