    BSOD - no obvious issue

    Hello all,

I have a Win7 x64 machine (Dell Opti 755) with Core 2 Quad Q8400 with 8GB of PNY RAM and a Quadro FX3800. Bought it refurbished but installed a new WD Blue 500GB HDD and fresh install with Win 7 disc.
I actually don't use the computer (someone else does) so I'm not sure if I'm getting full story or not. The user gets BSOD at random times with no obvious triggers. Some applications that may be open are Outlook, Excel, Snipping Tool, and sometimes Solidworks 2014 SP1.

I've run Memtest with no errors (I've run it overnight) and have run Driver Verifier. After the last BSOD I went to shut off Driver Verifier by going to system32 and starting it from there (which is how I turned it on) to delete the settings but it didn't seem like it was on (no option for deleteing settings). I opened regedit to delete the two entries but BSOD on me at that time (the only thing that was open was regedit). I am currently running Memtest again but no errors so far.

    Any ideas?

Also, how can I read the dump files myself? What tool(s) is needed (visual Studio?)?
