    Replace all the ram that are matched. Mismatched ram is not a good idea. When the ram is mismatched it can test good but not work with each other very well.

    When you say matched ram do you mean to have all 4 sticks in a quadcore setup be the exact same?

    Is replacing the two 1 GB ram enough or are you recommending to replace all the ram?

    It's best to replace all 4. Most quality manufacturers test a 'kit' to work together, as well as give a lifetime warranty. If you try to replace just 2, it will work in many cases, but not all. The safest way is to buy a complete kit.

    I was trying to install the new PSU. For my motherboard it needs a 4 pin PCI-E to power it. The PSU I got does not have any 4 pin PCI-E. Is it OK to use a 6 or 8 pin PCI-e instead?

    For one of the cable (8 pin PCI-E) it is labelled CPU. Is it supposed to be connected to something?

Hi, I've recently reformatted my new Lenovo G50-80 laptop from Windows 10 to Windows 7 64-bit. So while the game is loading the BSOD problem appears. Restarted a few times and it keeps happening. I hope you guys can help me out here. Included is the zip file with the logs. Thanks.

Hi guys, I got BSOD while playing Civilization V, didn't get a good look at the error code since it restarts so quick after I can see the blue screen. Uploaded the logs for reference, thanks.
It is strange because while playing civ 5 I have the BSOD error screen appear, but during league crashes the display simply shows no signal and strange sound comes through the speakers, but upon restarting cpu the error reads as follows: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen OS...

I don't know what else to add.. my computer blue screens when I play certain types of games, mainly. But I can pressure it with, say, a benchmark without it blinking. I tried getting a new GFX-card and a new HDD (SSD).. reinstalled everything on the new HDD with as updated drivers as I could...
