Random BSOD when clicking on a photo on facebook

    Hi all,

I have been getting BSODs lately in the past month usually when using google chrome, especially when closing a tab or if memory serves me right, clicking on a tab to maximize a minimized page. When i tried to fix the problem with windows updates, the blue screening subsided for a few weeks. Anyhow..

I thought i had fixed my blue screen problems with the updates and it has for around 2-3 weeks but to my surprise, 2 days ago, i BSODed while clicking on a random photo on facebook.

I never bluescreened when playing counter strike GO for hundreds of hours but i crash when surfing the web..

When i bluescreen, sometimes i see lots of lines of various colors and then the bluescreen comes.

I have also tried prime95 for about 35 hours and it comes out stable.
Have tried furmark to around 82 degrees and no crashes or weird artifacts.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thank you,
    Richard

Well; this is just a partial shot in the dark at the moment; but it seems from looking at the dump files it might; again might have something to do with the driver(s) for the graphics card possibly. I am by far no expert in bsod's as there ia exact "art" to figuring them out. But hopefully someone will clarify if i am on the right path or not.

Perhaps due to the use of hardware acceleration when navigating. I had a similar problem with Chrome and IE, with disabling that function I solved the problem(in IE).
