stop 0x0000007b 0xfffff880009a97e8 0xffffffffc0000034

I am greeted by a BSOD with the stop code stop 0x0000007b 0xfffff880009a97e8 0xffffffffc0000034 every time I attempt to boot windows since I swapped my dying hdd out with a new ssd cloned from aforementioned dying drive. I have read several threads concerning this same BSOD and all see to be resolved either by modifying certain registry entries to values that mine already match, or by changing bios settings to or from IDE mode. My bios is insyde h2o f.1b and has no option to alter that setting. A clean install would be problematic but might be possible though not preferable. Does anyone out there have ideas or hope to share?

If you face a stop 0x7B after cloning the windows installation, make it sure that you have done the cloning properly. Have a look at the method 2 and method 3 here: Windows 7 Installation - Transfer to a New Computer

Also, try Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times

If still it is the same, there must be some drivers missing during cloning, and then the clean install will be a feasible option.

Thank you for the advice. I have been attempting your first suggestion, but I have been unable to work around a fatal error by sysprep. I had tried the three times startup repair already, but startup repair consistently crashes on the second run and asks me if I want to send an error report. I will continue attempting to make sysprep work, but also gather what I need for a fresh install.

Probably a clean install will take less time and workloads.

I agree. I also decided that, if I could, I didn't want to transfer the exceptions I seemed to run into at every turn, or the messes I may have left working around them, onto the new hard drive. Thank you again.
