Please post back a screenshot of Disk Management - Post a Screen Capture Image.

Tell us what is on each partition.

Ok the screen shot of the drives is attached.

There is the C drive that is the new SSD that was/is causing the issue with resuming from sleep.

Remaining drives are all data and or program only drives.

Mark D drive Inactive: Partition - Mark as Inactive - Windows 7 Forums . Only the OS partition or its intended boot partition should ever be marked Active.

Unplug all but C drive, boot into the Win7 disk to run Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times and report back what it finds. It should then boot without the disk.

If problems persist contact the SSD tech support for help with running drive diagnostics, possibly RMA.

Compare the install originally done with the perfect install compiled in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 - Windows 7 Help Forums as you may want to do it over if it varies much - espeically for drivers - or uses any but the recommended tools and methods.

I would also not have programs on a separate drive since they write registry keys that integrate themselves into the OS and should remain a part of it on C until uninstalled.

You can also go over your install most thoroughly using the Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 which often will gather enough clues to resolve the problem.

Ok I have done as shown above and I can now boot the computer normally. I ran the startup repair 3 times, each time it came back as having nothing to repair, but I can boot now so whatever...

I am still getting the blue screen with resuming from sleep. Just today the server woke up the computer to back it up and it blue screened. I am going to contact crucial again and see about an RMA at this point as everyone here has given great options to troubleshoot and nothing is clearing it up.

I ran a memory test to check that as well and it came back clean.

Have you checked all the logs in Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 for clues near the time of the crashes?

There are 17232 events to sift through. The most recent has half a dozen that repeat several times since the blue screens started. I have googled some and not really gotten anywhere with understanding or comprehending the fixes.

Here are a few samples.

The very first error shown has a fix if you google it's text. This is how to resolve them, focusing on repeat errors. However I don't see any in the Admin log that look that serious, so it would be more of a housecleaning task.

You want to look in the Performance>Diagnostics log for errors logged around the times of the crashes. This is explained in Step 16.

Ok, I have been unable to get back to this for a couple days, but in the mean time the video card got an automatic update on it's driver and for the last couple of days no blue screens.

I have also done as above by looking at the performance logs and I am not seeing much that corresponds to any blue screen events. It mostly just lists information events.

I have attached the performance report though.

Do you need the Canon camera software. Wouldn't just a driver which is automatically installed when you plug in the camera to download pictures be sufficient? It seems it is a software package causing the problems. I would uninstall it in Control Panel.

Run SFC /SCANNOW Command to see if any System files are damaged.

Do you have an AV installed? If not install the one suggested in Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 which would also have solved your display driver problem since it shows how to run the Automatic Updates most effectively. Finish those steps to go over your install most effectively.

So no blue screens for a couple weeks now so I am calling this fixed.

I do need the canon software, my wife uses it for her photo business. Suggested scan came back clean as well.
I have avast installed and auto updating for all software so I don't know what I can change to have gotten a new driver version quicker.

Thanks to all for your help.

BSOD after resuming from hibernation.
Hey, So I've been having recurring instances where my laptop would BSOD about 10-20 minutes after I resume it from hibernation (not sleep). The "System" process uses up a core (25% total CPU usage) the entire time before it BSODs. During this time, my USB ports are nonfunctional. In the end, I...
