BSOD Custom Build. Can't figure out the culprit.

Try a manual window Update, type win up in the Start search, it should be the first result. Click Check for Updates in the Left pane.

The only thing in my updates is the Bing Bar. I have followed Shawn's instructions and made a sfc details text which I have uploaded. I have tried to look at it and figure out which one's I need to replace from the Win 7 x64 SP1 ISO image I have, but it just looks like a wall of text to me.

Side Note: I ran the System readiness tool and then ran sfc scan again. No change.

Side Note 2: One of my friends mentioned I might be putting in the wrong drive letter when I run type the sfc command from Repair menu. After doing a bit of research, I see he could be right so I am gonna try that.

Depending on how your computer is setup, the Command Prompt, when used from outside of Windows, doesn't always assign drive letters in the same way that you see them from inside Windows. In other words, Windows might be at C:\Windows when you're using it, but D:\Windows from the Command Prompt in System Recovery Options. In most installations of Windows 8 and Windows 7, C: usually becomes D: and in Windows Vista, C: is usually still C:. To check for sure, look for the drive with the Users folder on it - that will be the drive Windows is installed on, unless you have multiple installations of Windows on multiple drives.

Went back to look at the wall of text that is my SFC log. So far this is what I see can't be repaired.

I've asked for help with the SFC files, hang tight. I've tried simply replacing corrupt files with good copies, it doesn't work. there's permission/registry issues or something that has to be done. I think.

If you can boot w7 try running SFC from an elevated cmd prompt. Upload the new sfcdetails file. May be some repetition here...

This may help, run the steps outlined in this tutorial, Option Two, and reboot the system:

If after 2 runs there are still corrupt files, it won't fix it. I can ask for further help if so.

You may get this result:

Or a message that no integrity violations were found.
Or that Windows Resource Protection found errors it cannot repair, if so rerun the steps above.

Permission were simple enough to allow copy/replacing but it didn't remedy the problem. Followed Brink's guide.

I will wait for someone with some SFC knowledge, but I have already tried replacing the files and as you said it doesn't work even with permissions in place. I didn't do anything to the registry.

Ran SFC scan twice with elevated command prompt and rebooted after each completed scan. Still can't get the SFC scan to run in repair menu command prompt.

Ok, I have asked NoelDP for help with this.

You can restore the image if you want. Noel creates protocols and scripts that are unique to each case. He does many other things. to do as well, here in the forums.

Look fine now. A suggestion would be to run the SFC after you add software, drivers, etc to see if one makes more corruption.
