BSOD appearing at random moments(so it seems)

Hello everyone!

This is my first time here, hopefully not my last

I have a major problem with my computer, and i am freaking the heck out.

Starting this month, i have been receiving a TON of BSOD! There is a pattern with some of them, but the rest happen haphazardly, at random moments.

For example:

1. I would be playing a game (League of Legends, Battlefield 4 etc). I Alt-Tab to check something, BSOD.

2. I would be playing a game (Same as before). I CLOSE the game normally, BSOD.

3. I would be browsing the internet/computer/files, i close a window, BSOD.

4. I open my torrent downloader, set up my downloads, shut off monitor for overnight download. I wake up today and it says my computer had suffered a BSOD.

I don't understand why this is happening. I have not changed anything in my computer, and it just started happening. I have a feeling reinstalling Windows will not help me here.

What could possibly be going on?

One of the errors (the 0000x stuff) ended with 3b. This one appears after anything full screen closes.

Please help me guys/gals! My computer is very important to me as i had built it myself after years of saving and i would appreciate everyone's help!

Thank you very much!

I happened to have the same problem as you I believe, they are mostly some 3b BSODs and they happened when I exit games usually or when I switch from my monitor to TV. It just started happening one day for unknown reasons to me and yes windows reinstalling didn't help. I used driver verifier and it started causing BSOD at windows startup untill I shut it off via safe mode so I hope that at least it confirms that it is software related. I'm still waiting for reply on my post as well

Thank you for your reply!

I will try my best to follow everything here!

BTW, i installed bitdefender last week. The BSOD have been happening WAY before i installed bitdefender. So i will follow everything except remove bitdefender( paid money for it lol and my computer is subjected to many USBs, potential viruses)

If after doing everything, bitdefender is the cause, i will remove it as well. But i will keep it as a last step if you dont mind

But thank you very much! I will get to work on the steps right away!
