    BSOD when trying to print


    I started getting a BSOD today when I tried to print. Here are the related files, let me know what you guys think. Much appreciated !

    It is the Intel(R) 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller that is failing in both the crash dumps you supplied. Not finding any hint of printing task related issues ATM.

    Get rid of intel rapid storage. First uninstall it from Control Panel > Programs and Features. Then Uninstall the driver from device manager.

    1. Right click on "my computer" icon and click "manage" on the context menu.
    2. It will open the "computer management" window.
    3. Select "Device Manager" in the left pane, It will list all the existing devices up.
    4. Expand "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
    5. Select one Intel device item under it, right click, uninstall.
    6. Continue the process for all Intel items under "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"
    7. Now restart the computer. At restart, windows will auto configure the appropriate native system driver.

    Let us know the results. If needed, some alternative searches may tried.

    But how many computers do you have?

    Its too strange that so many of your computers are crashing at a time.

    I know it seems like a really odd coincidence, the first computer, the one we have been testing with the ram is being built for a client, the second one is my brothers computer, that one has been having blue screen problems for a little while, the third one really is a coincidence, it's at my job, I work as a system admin and general tech problem solver in a highschool, I have 300+ computers that I manage. I really don't get blue screens often at work but in this case it just happened to present itself while we were dealing this the other 2 problems. Thank you guys a lot for all your help, I really would be interested in learning exactly how to evaluate these situations on my own if you guys don't mind imparting some of your wisdom.

Hi, I just purchased an used computer with Windows 7Home Premium x64, this is an HP Slimline s5610f. The problem that I have is with a Brother HL 2040 series printer. It gave me a really hard time to install the drivers that I downloaded from the Brother website I kept getting a "0x00000057" error...
