What is this service running? BrUnvPrnPortPCL

So my machine was BSOD like crazy, I did a ton of stuff and its fixed but I can't pinpoint exactly what is was that fixed it. I searched a bunch of the threads here, and followed a few of the write ups, so thank you since something along the way helped and now the machine runs great again.

There is just 1 suspicion service running and I was wondering if anyone knows that it is?

In the services it is called:
    BrUnvPrnPortPCL

And the file that runs is:
    C:\Windows\System32\\BRUNVPRNPC64.EXE

Only thing I can think of that is anywhere near close to the name is a Brother printer, could the .exe stand for Brother Universal Printer on a 64 bit printer? That's just a guess from the name, anyone know.

    I Googled and found nothing.

Now that the machine is running good again, should I rerun any of the malware tools or anything else?

    Welcome to the Seven Forums.

Your guess that the file/service is associated with a Brother printer install sounds good. Do (or did) you have a Brother printer? Is the exe small enough to send to a compressed folder and upload it here. (See this info for uploading to this forum: Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums)

You might like to run this tool:
    Process Explorer 16
Set it up like the post mentions.

Maybe those that help with infections will stop by your thread and suggest the next step.
