BSOD 0x1E at startup, no minidumps

    Hello,

I got a BSOD yesterday while working and listening to some music, but was able to restart the computer afterwards (in normal Windows mode).
Today, I got a BSOD at startup, and restarting didn't help (getting BSOD every time). I can boot in Safe Mode, though.

The BSOD message is as follows:
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage
    to your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen,
restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow
    these steps:

Check to be sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is
identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check
with the manuifacturer for driver updates. Try changing video
    adapters.

Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates. Disable
BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need
to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your
computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then
    select safe Mode.

    Technical information:

    *** STOP: 0x0000001E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0xFFFFF8000327E2D6, 0x0000000000000000, 0
    x0000000000000000)
Now, the curious thing is, there are no dumps. I've tried to create both a kernel memory dump and a small memory dump following these instructions. But the dumps I'm finding at C://Windows/ and C://Windows/Minidump/ are at least 2 years old.

Logs from SF Diagnosic Tool are attached.

Help in understanding this error will be appreciated :)

Uninstall Comodo & Avast for testing purpose. Use Microsoft Security Essentials.

Recommended from a strict BSOD perspective, compatibility & stability compared to other security software:

Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

    Malwarebytes - Free

Good and Free system security combination.

Scan with Kaspersky TDSSKiller:Anti-rootkit utility TDSSKiller

ESET online scanner: Free Online Virus Scanner | ESET

Reduce items at start-up: Startup Programs - Change

Perform a clean boot: Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup

Run a System file check (SFC): SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Run Disk Check on your Hard Drive(s): Disk Check

Check for heating issues using Speccy or HWmonitor

Upload a screen shot: Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums

    Post back with results.

    Thanks for the reply.

Here's what I've done until now:
    • ran avast! full scan - no threats found
    • uninstalled avast! via their uninstall utility
    • seems I can't uninstall COMODO from Safe Mode
    • tried a clean boot with all startup items disabled and all services disabled, except Microsoft services - still BSOD at startup
    • ran TDSSKiller - no threats found
    • can't install Microsoft Security Essentials from Safe Mode
    • ran SuperAntiSpyware - over 300 threats found, mainly adware
    • ran Malwarebytes - 9 threats found
    • ran ESET online scanner - 1 threat found
    • ran CCleaner registry cleaner (3 passes)
    • tried clean boot again, still BSOD
    • tried to check for heating issues, but both programs don't seem to work very well in Safe Mode

So, I'll try the SFC and dskchk now; let me know if you need any logs.

    SFC was clean.
After Restart got a different BSOD with
    Code:
    STOP: 0x000000F7 0x00000020008ED610 0x00002B992DDFA232 0xFFFFD466D2205DCD 0x0000000000000000
    (a driver has overrun a stack-based buffer)

I then chose Last Known Good Configuration,
ran chkdsk overnight, but it seems it was interrupted (log attached).

Out of Safe Mode, uninstalled COMODO and am running MSE now.
    Heating specs seem fine (?)

Guess I should probably run chkdsk again?
    What about the drivers?

Uhh, none of the bluescreens that I got created a dump file.
And I'm not getting new bluescreens (yet) since I chose Last Known Good Configuration.

SF provided some information about drivers, i will update the log. Is this what you wanted?

Should I run SF Driver Verifier?

KoolKat - hard to analyze a dump file when there are no dump files included in the rar file.
Will stay tuned for a dump file. :)

I thought the driverlist was what you wanted.
No, I am not receiving BSODs now.

The sudden loss of results for CHKDSK is not unusual - you simply overflowed the space allowance.
There are a LARGE number of errors there - I would try running another CHKDSK tonight, and have a look at the new report.

However, if the drive is failing, this could be enough to give it a terminal heart attack - so back up data to external media first!!
