BSOD Diablo 3 and from desktop.

    Howdy,

I have gotten 5 or so BSODs over the past two days. I upgraded my OS (XP to 7), RAM, and CPU about 2 months ago and everything has been running peachy until a few days ago. I initially had a BSOD while playing Diablo 3, but have had a few upon restart and one from the desktop. It was auto-restarting my computer so I couldn't read the message. I did see something about memory so I ran Memtest to see if that came up with anything. Running Memtest86 on all 4 sticks of RAM did show errors, so I tried to narrow it down by testing each stick. I decided to try Memtest86+ (using Ultimate Boot CD) and test each one and none showed errors. So I am at a bit of a loss! Any input would be appreciated.

Alright then, lets have a look.
You have errors regarding your HDD.

Can you please run a disk check by following these instructions.

    Disk Check

Then can you run Seatools to make sure your HDD isn't failing.

SeaTools for DOS and Windows - How to Use

    Code:

I found these in the dump's that are causing a bluescreen.

win32k.sys KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED - To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Windows. Also overcloking.

ntoskrnl.exe MEMORY_MANAGEMENT - Have you checked and verified that the proper timings and voltages are set in the Bios for your memory? Worst case scenario you could have a bad memory controller on your cpu.

Ntfs.sys NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM - One possible cause of this bug check is disk corruption. Corruption in the NTFS file system or bad blocks (sectors) on the hard disk can induce this error. Corrupted SCSI and IDE drivers can also adversely affect the system's ability to read and write to disk, thus causing the error.

Check bios make sure all memory timings are auto. Full virus scan in safe mode. Download SpeedFan and moniter your Temps.

SpeedFan: SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer

Also delete old drivers before you update!

Let me know how it goes and if you need any support. :)

Ok, so I ran memtest86+, no dice there. When I had errors before it was running memtest86 (no +) and I have not been able to recreate that. Also, I ran the Windows memory diagnostic and it said everything was peachy. I did a disk check, and updated my video drivers. I checked my memory in the bios and that looks fine too, though I don't see a way to manually set the timings. I have had a few more blue screens (though I went about a week without any) so I am attaching a new zip. Hopefully the new blue screens will shed some light on things. I am perhaps wondering if my video card is failing, but I am mostly at a loss :-P Any help is much appreciated!

You still have a lot of memory corruption, how many passes did you run it for? You must run it for at least 8 passes.

If you have ran it for 8 passes then please enable driver verifier and post the BSOD dump files. Driver verifier will see if there is a faulty driver and it will force a BSOD if it finds one.

Ahhh what happened was I ran it on each stick in the first slot. I am running it now and getting a lot of errors with all 4 slots full. An error with one of the slots then? Is there anyway to tell which slot is the problem on memtest? Or do I need to test each slot individually?

Unfortunately if it's a motherboard DIMM slot which is at fault it is a long and painstaking process finding the slot. You will have to run each slot individually.
