Then just today i recieved a blue screen while on the desktop. I forgot what button to push on the keyboard to keep it displayed and didnt get to see what it was about. below is the stuff windows told me when i started up again:

    Before updating any driver please create a restore point as we don't want things getting worse. Follow these instructions on how to create a restore point.

    System Restore Point - Create

    Right, your BSOD is related to your network driver. It is out of date. Please update it from the following link:

    Drivers for Atheros AR9285 and Windows 7

    Code:
    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *

    It doesn't say in your MSINFO32 file that you have the network adapter installed. The one you named. Anyway, you have a restore point.
    You go into the control panel and it should be there. The atheros network driver.

    Ok I uninstalled it, and about that, I just downloaded whatever driver windows told me to and it worked. so i didn't worry about it. (Nice profile name and picture btw. I'm a huge fan) and i assume that i download the windows 7 auto install app thing it says to right? (the website)

    I'm not quite sure what you mean? Anyway I'm glad it worked and I pointed you in the right direction. If you get anymore crashes let me know. If the issue is solved don't forget to mark this thread as solved.
