Weekly BDOS; not sure when but mainly on start up (parent's laptop)

    Hi

My mum is reporting weekly or more frequent BSOD. Mainly on start up from what I can gather.

    Thanks for any help.

Right, there are no dump files here. Please configure the dump files by following these instructions.

Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD

Then follow the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions

There' still nothing there. Can you check in your Windows folder for any dump files.
    C:/Windows/minidump
    If there's nothing there check
    C:/Windows/MEMORY.DMP

Then please run Driver Verifier by following these instructions.

Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

Can you now please go back and follow the instructions on how to run driver verifier. A driver is causing pool corruption, driver verifier will help us determine which driver is causing the fault.

Okay, I've followed the steps suggested.

I still think there's problems with the .dmp files.

I've configured it to create a small memory dump, I've done the driver verifier and I've check the minidump file and MEMORY file but the minidump file is empty and there is no MEMORY file.

I've attached the zip just created.

    Apologies for my computer ignorance!

I'm afraid you'll just have to keep it BSODing until a dump file is created. There's little else we can do at the moment.
