BSOD Playing Fifa (Usually) May be an overheating issue?

    It got to 56 but the fan speed wasn't rising so I turned it off to post this
    I'll run it again now

    As long as temperatures don't rise above 85 you should be safe.

    Temperature leveled at 60 degrees about 6 minutes in, no artifacts, the fan speed increased to 41% so it's not stuck after all

    Sure, that tutorial said to stop if the temperature levels out thats why I stopped

    Alright, ran it for 30 minutes, no artifacts, maxed at 62 and was sat at 60 for most of the test

    Right, that looks like your GPU isn't the cause then, actually that might have been a bugcheck when you said your fans stopped working so it overheated.

    I would now recommend updating your Creative driver.

    Ok, I've been looking for the creative driver but am unsure on what to use:

    Creative Worldwide Support

    I know my soundcard is X-Fi but don't know what product it is, all my device manager says is creative sb X-fi

    Try typing on the start menu "dxdiag" and go onto the sound tab.
