BSOD when playing diablo 3, error 0x00000116

Hello! I have just started playing diablo 3 again on a new computer i just built myself (about two months ago) and the past couple days during long play sessions i have been getting a computer crash, in which the computer fans all get SUPER loud and the computer shuts off and restarts, i checked in on whats happening and found out it was a bluescreen, error 0x00000116, Caused by Driver:dxgkrnl.sys. the temps are all fine, my case has ALOT of cooling. This has only happened when playing diablo 3. I can play World Of Warcraft, League Of Legends, and every other game without it crashing. Any help would be much appreciated!

The problem seems to be occuring more often now. and several times when it rebooted onto desktop it crashed again with a blue screen error.

EDIT: i did a clean reformat of windows 7, and i have already got 3 blue screen errors. I have no idea what the cause could be. I ran FurMark, and i ran prime95 for about 8 hours earlier today (before reformat) and no crash, but now they are happening often and randomly.
