It doesn't give me any errors, the USB is selectable in the BIOS, but when i choose it, it just boots up as normal, or it will flash to the original motherboard screen then back into the BIOS boot select.

Try changing the boot order so USB is first then CD or your HDD.

If that fails then a BIOS update should fix the issue.

Already tried changing the boot order, ill try to update my BIOS now.

Edit. None of the BIOS files from my motherboard manufacturers website are working, apparently they are incompatible with the version of windows i am running, and i cannot see any option for a 64 bit OS.
And using the @BIOS tool is causing a BSOD Error: SPECIAL_POOL_DETECTED_MEMORY_CORRUPTION
