Do you guys recommend me buying it from ebay? Because it is only £50 and microsofts prices are currently pretty high
You will more than likely get another bogus product key from Ebay, I'm sure some of our other UK members can point you to a reputable source.
Some of amazons ones look decent and only like £70
I have bought from Amazon.com, and as long as you buy where it says sold by and shipped by Amazon, I feel confident. But would be reluctant to buy from a vendor. That's just my opinion. Or, buy from a reputable dealer in the UK, who stands behind their products. I wouldn't consider Ebay, personally. But I would hurry. Windows 7 disks are getting to be in short supply from what I see.
Yeah on Amazon it is highly rated and is by Microsoft Software so I will buy this today and it will hopefully arrive by monday. Also do you guys think this is a very possible cause to my bluescreens? and again thanks for the help :)
Ok just bought it from amazon, sold and shipped by them so thats good, I will get it by saturday and then I will install and get back to you guys if any other bluescreens are happening :)
It's fairly likely, we see many BSOD cases when the cause is counterfeit installation. It could be the cause of your problems, but may not be. I would recommend a clean install of the OS with the disk you get. Just disconnect other Hard drives during the install except the drive you want Windows installed on and follow this tutorial to get a good install. Clean Install Windows 7
