Thanks Noel, and good job, Burnsy. For your BSOD problems, I would install just a few updates at a time and give it time until you feel like it is stable, then install about 10 more. That way, if it is something like an update that causes it to BSOD, you will know exactly where to look. Do the same with programs. Take it very slow, and allow time between installs to see if it causes you problems, so that if there is a program or a driver causing you problems, you will know exactly what it is, or where to look.
Okay :) Thank you guys again for the help so far, I will watch my installs and pin point whats causing it, if it wasnt the counterfeit Win7
Good job, and it may possibly have been your other OS. Just take it slow and easy and make sure when you install anything, that it is still stable after the install. You may want to change the windows update settings to 'download but let me decide what to install'. That way you can look at each update and decide what to install and will know which ones you just installed. You can change it back later if you want to. I keep mine set that way. Install the graphics card driver from the AMD site for your card, instead of windows update installing it.
Okay, fingers crossed it was the OS..
That's great news, and not real uncommon. I'm glad everything is working well for you. Please keep us posted. I would really like to know of your progress and how things are going for you. Keep in touch and hang out around here. You'll be surprised at how much there is to learn on this site.
