The Hardware Error 0x124 is a hard one to diagnose. Some help can be shown by examining the WHEA error record. In the dump command line, enter !errrec fffffa8006c79688. (This address will very so use the address shown for Arg2.) This will break out the parameters of the error record. However; in your case, the parameters are all zeros. To me, this could indicate a processor failure, memory failure or power failure. If you are overclocking, stop. Check temperatures and fan operation. An overheated CPU can cause this error. There's really not enough in this single dump to diagnose the problem with any certainty. Check the system log and a few more dumps for clues to the problem.

There is the !errrec fffffa8006c79688. I keep seeing AMD processor BUS, for instance, FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: X64_0x124_AuthenticAMD_PROCESSOR_BUS_PRV. Does this mean anything? How should i go about checking temp of my PC? I'll paste the next crash report and see if that sheds any more light.

OKay. After checking my system temps with HWmonitor i have found that my video card's temp was around 96 celsius and the fans rpm was 0. I'm assuming this means that the fan is not working and the video card is therefore overheating. I will look into fixing the fan on my video card. What do you think?

The error is too "generic" to shed much light. It's a hardware error on the processor bus. It could be anything from the CPU back to the PCI bus and any drivers in between. That's why we need to see all the dumps and the logs along with your system is set up. If you follow the directions at the top of the page and upload the gathering from the utility, you may get better help.

    That could be it.

Added: HWiNFO may not be accurate on AMD based systems and the driver for the video card may not report fan speed. Best to physically verify whether the fan is running.

I manually checked my video card fan and sure enough a wire had drooped down onto it to it wasn't spinning. I fixed that and so far i have had no restarts. Thanks for the help guys!
