Go to where Prime95 is located and there will be a text file called results.txt
Upload that.

Because of the type of bugcheck that you have I can't say whether it's hardware or not because it could be driver related.

Please upload the dump file as well.

I also recommend running Prime95 in safe mode.

Hm strange. Couple things I noticed. i don't have any dumps in window\minidump. Also, there is no file called results.txt. I'll try running again in safe mode.

Ok.
Please post the results.

Sometimes the dump files can get interrupted during crash collection when the bugcheck has initialized.

Tried running Prime 95 on safe mode, and got a BSOD twice. It seems like I got a result from Prime95 though. Attached.

It only passed once, the fact that it only passed once and it was in safe mode makes me believe your CPU is at fault.

I'm afraid the problem with hardware testing is that it can be expensive because you need to swap/replace parts to see if the issue persists and I'm afraid it looks like you'll have to change your CPU by either swapping it with another one or buying a new one.

Hi ,

I also agreed with Thedoctor44

But also before purchase new cpu please try ,

1 - Remove cooler and clean
2 - Remove your cpu try to clean cpu slot
3 - If necessary apply some thermal paste
4 - Install cpu , safe mode try prime95 test again.

It depends what you use your PC for and how much you are willing to spend.
Personally I like Intel much more than AMD so I would use an Intel CPU.

However, because I've never used an AMD CPU or GPU I can't really vouch for them but I've been told if you have one AMD component it's best to get the other because they work better together.
As in you have an AMD GPU so it might be better if you got an AMD CPU.

I've also been told AMD CPUs overheat a lot more so I would recommend getting a good heatsink and fan if you don't have one already.

I heard that as well which is why I went with the Phenom II. The only things I do on my computer are games, and pretty much youtube/download movies. I have the Cooler Master v8 heatsink for my CPU at the moment. When I first set up my computer my cpu was at 32 degrees, so I think this is a good heatsink.
