Multiple BSOD & Reboots IRQL, Bad Pool Header, System Service Exceptio

Hey W7 People,

I have an older Asus that was a gaming PC in its hay day (check specs) and after the last windows updates I'm getting crazy random BSODs. Usually always after it has been sitting a while like a day or so. Then I start it up and it BSODs at the login screen. It'll get stuck at starting windows then, hard reboot it. It'll give me another one once I login, then it reboots and its fine lol. I've had previous issues with it from day one Nvidia and Windows could not create a correct driver for the Geforce 220 card so I removed it and using the onboard graphics. Then found out that they put a 400 watt power supply in it. Swapped that out with a 600 watt and was doing fine for a while, until now.

UPDATE: Oh yeah Norton some how hijacked my ability to get an ip address so I had to remove it. Now I'm about to get BullGuard AntiVirus software.

Hello,

It is currently showing pool corruption on a couple of them, do this Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

Also shows memory corruption on a couple of others. So run a memtest: RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Post back results.

Welcome to the forum mosnet99,

Reduce items at start-up:Perform a clean boot: Run the System File Checker that scans the of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible:Scan with Kaspersky TDSSKiller:ESET online scanner: Post a screenshot of your Hard Drive(s) using Crystal Disk Info software:Run a Hard Drive test:Check for heating issues using Speccy or HWmonitor
Upload a screen shot: Run Disk Check on your hard disk for file system errors and bad sectors on it:Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable!:-

To perform a clean install of a driver, follow this tutorial:Use Revo Uninstaller to uninstall stubborn software. Opt for Advance Mode while uninstalling which allows you to remove leftover registry:-Remove Norton, it is known to cause BSOD's. Recommended antivirus program for Windows 7 based on stability compared to others:- Do not start the free trial of Malware Bytes; remember to deselect that option when prompted.

Can I add if you getting pool corruption then enabling special pool should help identify the driver.

I did HonerGamer's steps. Memtest did a few passes and was okay. Did driver verify was still getting reboots. So I had previous trouble with graphics card issues. I was currently using the onboard graphics adapter. So I went out and bought a EVGA Geforce GT 610. Installed that and wasn't getting crashes before windows started any longer but a BSOD noting the driver for the Razer Acosta Keyboard that came with it. Went to buy a new keyboard for $15. No more BSODs!!! Finally.
