    Sudden Blue Screens

    Hello,

I have had this installation for quite sometime and have not made recent changes. However, blue screens started appearing once or twice a day. Just before that the computer freezes, but not completely: the mouse cursor moves, but does not do anything, and I can make the keyboard lights go on of off, but it does not operate otherwise. A a minute or two I get a BSOD. I am uploading the ZIP file generated with dm log collector.exe in hope that someone will help finding the culprit.
Thank you for any help provided.

    Hi Neophile.

The BSOD is caused by the Bluetooth driver.
    Code:
    BugCheck 3B, {c0000047, fffff80003ab97fc, fffff88007ce13c0, 0}

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for BtHidBus.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for BtHidBus.sys
    Probably caused by : BtHidBus.sys ( BtHidBus+1396 )

    Followup: MachineOwner
    ---------
And the driver is very old.
    Code:
    fffff880`01880000 fffff880`01884700 BtHidBus T (no symbols)
        Loaded symbol image file: BtHidBus.sys
        Image path: \SystemRoot\System32\Drivers\BtHidBus.sys
        Image name: BtHidBus.sys
        Timestamp: Wed Aug 26 08:42:42 2009 (4A94A82A)
        CheckSum: 000155D6
        ImageSize: 00004700
        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
If you dont use Bluetooth, the best you disable it in Device manager.

But if you use bluetooth, try to update the driver from the manufacturers website and see how it goes.

    Thank you very much Arc.

I had no idea about the source of the BSOD. I understand the problem, but I am not sure if I can solve it. The Bluetooth Blue Soleil driver is old because I can't replace it, I don't know why. I have tried often times to install the Broadcom software, which I used years ago, but it does not find the dongle! I will have to find more recent appropriate software or change the dongle if I can't find.

    Thanks again.
