G75VX Restarts without notice, BSOD ntoskrnl.exe+71f00

Hi! Wow, I've bumped into seven forums quite a bit in the past...but straight to the point:
I've been having BSOD problems from time to time, but just a few days ago(especially today) my laptop has
been restarting at boot and random. It lasts in safe-mode for maybe 5 minutes before it reboots. I have very delicate developer stuff in it I do not want to lose! Art Director from Obsdn(wont say the name) is coming tuesday to check and.... I need to work! xD
The original program that comes with the Asus model is windows 8, but I installed W7(it was really hard to find the appropriate drivers). And I hope I dont have to re-install the whole thing.
So I've come to this forum and seek help from you and other masters
I have disabled reboot option in the beginning but it didnt help much. I've managed to pull only 2 blue-screens out of the 15+ random reboots today. My laptop also had a previous problem: It will turn on out of nowhere. But maybe I will leave that for the specialized forum. I do have a travel bag with wheels which I carry the lappy on about 3-4x a week. But this one has not been moved for the last 3 days(gave me the most trouble today).
Note: This specific model with windows 7x64 has problems with wifi (ac) since day 1 because the drivers were meant for W8 and the substitute drivers sometimes work. Also I've noticed the air moves really slowly
from the back since day 1 even when running graphic intensive programs. It will not display card temp in windows gadgets.

    Asus Laptop G75VX
    Windows 7 x64
    8GB DDR3
    3GB Nvidia 670MX
    SSD:
    M4 Crucial (C: ) 256GB
    Samsung EVO 120GB

The default memcheck (ran 3x) says there is no error.
    Hardrives do not mark errors.
But I notice that they wont blink when there are errors or make very little blinking.
I think it is windows or some driver error.

All I know from the mini is that this is in red:

    nvlddmkm.sys nvlddmkm.sys+7fc8a
    031114-24086-01.dmp 3/11/2014 2:41:42 AM DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE
ntoskrnl.exe ntoskrnl.exe+77dda (Actually this might hint to the random turn ons)
ntoskrnl.exe+71f00 I'm not sure if this is enough info so I provided actual minis.

`I can no longer install/uninstall any program (Windows installer error).
`Bootlog on boot will just cause reboot.
`I get frequent blank screens on startup but I do manage to
get to where the users log in if I try normal boot.
`Sometimes HDMI disconnection to monitor will cause BSOD.
`Today I cannot connect to monitor without crashing.
    `Mini Dumps provided i nattachments:
Now, I dont know if it was able to save the latest minidumps or not but if I get another BSOD
I will try to see if a new one was created and post it.
The BSODs I get require me to turn it off manually by holding down the button.
Normally on my desktops they restart automatically-not the case with this one.
    Help is much appreciated :)
If I missed anything or need me to do something let me know as I am new to this

    Hi Decadia.

Click on the button below ....

It will download the DM log collector. Right click on the application and run as administrator. It will generate a .zip file on your desktop. Upload the .zip.

    Awesome! :)
Please know, this is collected in safe-mode as normal mode will just cause reboot before I can do anything. I will keep trying though.
Also, is it possible to replace the kernel(ntoskrnl.exe)? Or is it typically not the kernel at all-kind of like when the car marks check engine?

First of all, you need to install Service pack 1 and all other windows updates. Otherwise the system will remain vulnerable to threats.
    Code:
Windows 7 Kernel Version 7600 MP (8 procs) Free x64
    Product: WinNt, suite: TerminalServer SingleUserTS
    Built by: 7600.16385.amd64fre.win7_rtm.090713-1255
Learn how to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
Service Pack and Update Center - Microsoft Windows

It appears that the Ideazon ZBoard/Ideazon ZBoard Fang MM USB HID driver is very old.
    Code:
    fffff880`087ec000 fffff880`087f8f00 Alpham164 T (no symbols)
        Loaded symbol image file: Alpham164.sys
        Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\Alpham164.sys
        Image name: Alpham164.sys
        Timestamp: Mon Jul 23 13:27:03 2007 (46A45F4F)
        CheckSum: 000134FC
        ImageSize: 0000CF00
        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
And it is contributing to the BSODs.
    Code:
    BugCheck 1000009F, {4, 258, fffffa8007622040, fffff80000ba2740}

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for Alpham164.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for Alpham164.sys
    Implicit thread is now fffffa80`07622040
    Probably caused by : usbccgp.sys

    Followup: MachineOwner
    ---------
Either update it from SteelSeries - Downloads (or any other site you are aware of) of stop using the device (keyboard I guess) that is using the driver and uninstall the driver.

    Milestone Progress!

Ahh, unfortunate that it is the latest update! D:
Atleast the 3DS Max version template is 2007-08. Bummer I just bought it this year.
    Oh well!

Progression! Removed all usbs and it almost booted normally (still in safe mode but in native res).
Another BSOD but wait it rebooted by itself now. :) The windows flag loading screen still doesnt load but it kinda
appears now. So proud of the lappy and you Arc! That post is...just golden
OK! Now I'm being paranoid of drivers so I'm uninstalling(yes I can uninstall some stuff now too)
the minor drivers such as creative technologies, hotspot, Zboard(gave me errors but looks like its gone) and some
other stuff. Time to cleave dem drivers! If you need me to list it let me know. I'm just digging the forums a bit.
Oh, I also set Nvidia settings(Yup it actually works now) to "performance".

SF DIag no longer works except for maybe 2-3 buttons.
I will manually extract the minidump then.

I always felt the updates caused alot of audio/graphic glitches so I kept them off xD
    The kbs is what I distrust....well now I kuh-noh.
I didnt know they were that important. Updating windows now.
Here is the part I fear....I hope it doesnt randomly turn off while updating! D:

    Ok it pulled through!
Minidump stamp is still 3/11/2014 at its latest..I don't think it saved?
Blank/black screens are gone so far...
I will try to get this thing to boot in normal boot now.

Ok, a concern now is...will it be safe to plug to a 2nd monitor and usbs?
Of course I am Very happy so far and I've couldn't have done it without you!
    Super kudos to you!

Can you or have you completed this task posted by Arc #4?
    It's a must.

I will go back to watching.

    Yes, it is. Plus .......

OK, in that case upload the list of all the third party drivers Using NirSoft DriverView :

    • Download and execute Driverview
    • View > Hide Microsoft Drivers
    • Edit > Select all
    • File > Save Selected Items
    • In the Save dialog, Set the path to desktop, Put "Driverview" in the name field, and save.
    • Zip the .txt file and upload it.

    Sorry I thought I replied D:
Okay first, I got rid of my new keyboard.
Got a Logitech k350(hope the drivers are good for this one xD)
And, barely made it for the AD to check my work.
So now I have two possible jobs including one with..."copcom" dun dun dun!
Hard to pick...since they both do dragons argh....well that aside:

    Uninstalled:
    Ideazon
    Creative Technologies
    DS708 Maxidas & remote control(Probably old too)
    JDownloader 0.9
Adobe After Effects CS^/CC (BSODs during and after use)
    Zbrush R5
Nokia USB (And other Nokia types)
    Final Fantasy VII (& Benchmark)
    Spiral Knights
    Roblox

During the chaos I was able to do a system restore (sorry it was too tempting) and got The office suite back.
I might have had to re-uninstall some programs/drivers..

    Updated:
_Samsung Magician (& enabled rapid mode-gave me almost 680ish write and 3700~mb read per second of course the drive is also nearly empty)
_Windows Service pack 1 (Including more updates when I shut it down)
_For some reason Nvidia doesn't want to download so I'll do that manually.
    I'm on 311.15

_Also Cleaned out the laptop(very small dust in a corner and cleaned out the vents which I think it slightly helped the random reboot part).
    _Nvidia set to Performance.

    BSODS so far? Roughly 1
Blanks? 3(Includes a random startup in the morning and they might have been bsods but I don't know
since the screen does not light up)
    Random Reboots? 1

Compare that to like 15+ reboots and many BSODS xD

I'm booting from a different "OS" or something and now I can boot into
normal mode. I still get the random black and white screens.
I think the white screens might be from performance(They look like the old theme or safe mode) so I will check on that.

Its feeling much much better now. :)
If only medicine would cure this fast!!

As you are still getting BSODs, some more info will be needed.

Click on the button below ....

It will download the DM log collector. Right click on the application and run as administrator. It will generate a .zip file on your desktop. Upload the .zip.
