There is and there was only one HDD, internal, WD Green 500 GB.

I think that without being able to physically see the PC in hand we may not know what is attached. No offence Arc, just playing the devils advocate here. if indeed the OP did not replace the drive but was able to "repair" a few sectors thinking that would be enough then I understand the frustration. Lets see what the OP has to say before we crucify them shall we?

Unhelpful statement - the worst thing you can possibly do is wander into a BSOD thread from the "More help requested" thread, then question a long-established BSOD Team members assertion.

I recommend you learn to examine the msinfo.nfo file which irrefutably shows a single physical disk attached.
