BSOD Resuming From Hibernation

I recently reinstalled a fresh copy of Windows 7 on my computer, but have been having a bit of trouble with BSODs whenever I try to resume from hibernation. What happens is that it will show the windows POST screen when resuming, then will immediately get a BSOD. Anyone know what the issue is?

Are you using a desktop?
If so then there is no need for hibernation, in fact it's not designed for desktops at all.

If you are using a laptop then you should roll back your graphics driver to an earlier version as these latest versions have caused a few issues.

You can do this from the device manager or by following these instructions:

Well I don't use 3rd party uninstalling software but I've heard Revo Uninstaller is up there.

Well, I just did a clean reinstall of my display driver and the problem appears to have been resolved. The issue, I think, was that Windows kept trying to install a version of the display driver that it got off of Windows Update. Once I stopped it from doing that (Using the Device Installation Settings), and reinstalled the latest driver, the issue went away. Thanks.
