BSOD 0x0000003b

Hello. This is my first time posting on here and i'm hoping that maybe I could resolve my problems here. I have had this BSOD problem for about 6 months (January-now). I'd also like to mention that i'm not exactly a very proficient person when it comes to computers so i'm sorry if I don't understand some things.

So I have had this BSOD problem since late January. Since January, I have recieved 5 BSOD's that were all BCCode 0x3b (System_Service_Exception). I have tried a couple of things in attempt to fix my problem, but I don't think they worked. I tried:

1. Updating my video card drivers.
2. Updating Windows (since it was nearly a year outdated)
3. Scanned my PC with Malwarebytes.

I know there are several other fixes I could of tried such as driver verifier and testing RAM, however I wanted to consult this forum before I attempted to do those things as I worry I might screw something up.

There are a few things i'd like to mention.

Firstly, my first 0x3b BSOD occured 2 days after I got my new mouse (Logitech g500) and has since been happening. I have never tried uninstalling the drivers or using a different mouse but I might try that if it turn out to be a possibility.

Secondly, these BSOD's are very intermittent. My most recent BSOD was on June 8. Prior to that, the last BSOD I got was in February so it will be difficult to test to see whether any suggestions actually worked.

Thirdly, in October of 2013, I got a BSOD 0x0a upon attempting to wake my computer from hibernation. I simply turned off sleeping and hibernation and the problem was fixed but I can provide the dump file if needed.

Lastly, today my computer locked up on me and was forced to shut down the computer by hard shutdown. Also my computer didn't display a BSOD nor create a dump file. I'm not sure if this is related to my BSOD problem but I just wanted to point that out.

I really hope I can find a fix for this because i'm bothered by not only the interruption of my gaming but also the concern of my hardware being at risk. Thanks for your help.

Hello PureLemon,

Unfortunately the .zip folder you have uploaded is incomplete. We need more information to analyze your logs. Follow Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions, let the tool run until it has completely finished and then upload the new logs.

I just wanted to update this thread. I recently changed my monitor with a resolution of 1440x900 to one that reaches 1680x1050 and after I did that, I noticed that my PC has frozen up on me more frequently. With my old monitor, my PC did freeze but somewhat rarely; with my new monitor it happened twice in less then 4 or 5 days or so. Also I've noticed that with my old monitor (I haven't paid attention to notice whether it happened on the new one too) my screen turned black for a few seconds then returned to normal (similar to what happens when drivers stop responding) but the "drivers stopped responding" message has only showed once from the several times it happened. One last thing I noticed that could be contributing to my problem is my power supply. I noticed that the 12v rail of my power supply is 38A but the graphics card recommendation is 42A.
