Dismantle the computer. Clean the entire inside very carefully. Clean all the air vents and fan grills so that it can blow the hot air out efficiently. Make it sure that all the fans are working properly. If not, replace them.

While re-seating the system, apply new thermal paste to the CPU.



Do it as early as possible; because that heat can damage the other parts.

Let us know whether it causes a change there or not.

So I cleaned the PC thoroughly again, removing any dust or debris. I also found out that the rear fan had not been connected properly. I've now reconnected it, and temperatures remain below 55*c for browsing. Not ideal, but definitely better. As for the thermal paste, I seem to be all out. For this I shall seek the assistance of a professional in any case. It's definitely a must, as I believe it's been a year since I put together the PC. Admittedly, it may not be entirely the PC's fault; I am in a rather warm room. Lots of sunlight, humidity, no air conditioning except for my ceiling fan and small portable fan. I'm sure that adds a little heat. I'll report any more BSODs and report my temps again, particularly with the reapplication of thermal paste.

Like my room. :) At 2 PM it was 42 degrees plus 68% humidity.

We need a thermal paste application each year before the summer starts, and as frequent dusting as possible.

Thanks! That's my top priority. I also tested the PC and let Battlefield 4 run for a little while. Luckily, no BSODs or freezes. Things are improving. I'll shut it off for now.
