Thank you all, Steve, Ken and Bill. :) You guided us excellently.

I would like to know the situation after removing the battery.

    But,

As of this moment, I haven't run into any problems yet. I will report back if something occurs. Meanwhile, fingers crossed that it was just a battery problem.

    Nisym,

Could you update members with what you have done?

It could be as simple as
"I have only removed the battery. I'm running on AC power only"
    or
"I have only replaced the battery"

Post# 42 says that your machine is running ok - what helped?

    Thanks

    Bill

Slartybart: Sure thing! Truth to be told, I'm not entirely sure. It could simply be having a good day, or perhaps running without the battery is surely helping. I've honestly have tried every suggestion that you and everyone else have offered.

Regarding the ailment of my computer, I would suggest anyone who is having BSODs and frequent lost of power to try all of the suggestions suggested via this thread. I can't say for certain that my computer is fixed, but I can say that it's been stable enough so far. I'm currently running via AC adapter only.

    Thanks Arc,

There were a lot of things between 30 & 44 - I wasn't certain if that was still the case.

It is good news and seems to point at the battery <edit: as Arc suggested in post# 24 and :edit> carwiz alluded to in post# 29

To paraphrase your post "I'd like to know the status when a new battery is back in the machine"

But wait on that Nisym, it's been less than 1 day - see how well it works as it is now.

edit: thanks Nisym, you posted while I was typing this post.
edit2: You meant have not tried every suggestion - right?
Maybe not after reading it again. Maybe you did mean that you've tried every suggestion.
