BSOD windows 7 HELP!!!

Hello to all. I hope someone can help.

I have been getting constant "unexpected shutdowns" and tonight I have had the BSOD. I did not have chance to see what the error was. And I want to be able to upload the .DMP file for someone to have a look at.

It is driving me mad!! I have looked on my system for the .dmp file and it is showing at about 3 gig!!! Surely this cant be right- can it?

Anyway I tried the tutorial with debug and I must admit, I got a bit lost with it.

Please can someone let me know what this huge .dmp file is and where the small one is so I can upload it for someone to look at.

Did you look for the .dmp file in windows>minidump?

Okay. I have realised why the dump file was 3 gig. It was the memory dump file. Sorry, new to all this. Here are all my mini dump files.

I hope someone can tell me whats going on.

These are difficult to "read" for reasons that have nothing to do with the actual crash, and it's impractical for me to try to work around the problem presently.

As a suggestion, set the DisablePagingExecutive registry value to 0 (zero), reboot, and then attach more minidumps as crashes occur. Reference:

DisablePagingExecutive

(When all this is done, undo the registry changes. Your machine is most likely not endowed with massive amounts of free physical memory, and this change will make things slightly worse in the short term, but it'll make dump analysis easier.)

Thanks for your input to my problems.

Unfortunately work only allows me to check in when I can. I have changed my registry setting as suggested, and have kept it that way until something happens. I hope that was right at least.

I will go to ASUS site and update.

Now this may have nothing to do with anything, I am not the expert here, you all are, but I have to say, I have a lot of "unexpected shutdown problems when I leave my pc downloading for a prologned period of time. I use internet download manager.

Anyway, if that is info is useful then great. Why is it such an enigma??

Ahhhh! Another Blue Screen! If anyone can take a look at it for me, and hopefully tell me whats wrong, I'll buy them a pint!
