    What worked for me...

    1. Uninstalled Catalyst Control Center (CCC).
    2. Disabled Hardware Acceleration in Adobe Flash (mainly used for YouTube).

When I first got this gfx card (Gigabyte Radeon R9 290x), I was getting blue screens every 2-3 days on average. They would occur weather I'm running a high gfx demanding game or a game that can be run on 256 colors, watching videos with Windows Media player or YouTube. They didn't seem to occur when my PC was idle though. After doing the above 2 things, I haven't got a BSoD in months :)

    My specs:
    CPU: Intel Core i7 960 @ 3.2 GHz
    OS: Win 7 Ultimate x64
    GPU: Gigabyte Radeon R9 290x
    GPU Driver: version 14.301.1001.0
    PSU: 950 watts.
    RAM: 12GB

*EDIT: It turns out that my CPU was overheating. I replaced the cooler with a more powerful one and everything has now been working great for several months.

Both of your dumps are 0x7E and directly blame your ATI driver. Confirmation that your ATI driver is being flagged.

    Code:
fffff880`02ef6b48 fffff880`042eca98*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for atikmpag.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for atikmpag.sys
     atikmpag+0xaa98
Download the 13.9 driver from here then use AMD Uninstall Utility to remove all traces of your current driver, CCC etc. Reboot and install the 13.9 driver.

       Note
When installing choose 'Advanced' or 'Custom' (whichever option is available, just not Express) and uncheck everything except the video driver.

Your Realtek Gigabit Ethernet driver is also being flagged.

    Code:
    fffff880`02ef7268 fffff880`0487421dUnable to load image Rt64win7.sys, Win32 error 0n2

Try the version listed on the ASUS support for your motherboard is dated earlier than the version you have installed but is worth installing for testing purposes. Uninstall your current version and install the latest one linked on the ASUS support page.

    Code:
    0: kd> lmvm Rt64win7
    start end module name
    fffff880`0486e000 fffff880`04955000 Rt64win7 T (no symbols)

I understand that this thread is more than a year old, i think my problem is similar, so hence the reply, my apologies for posting on this thread. Even my dumps are 0x7E and i keep getting random BSOD. My system is a dual graphics card switchable model, do i also install the driver from the link you provided n try installing only the graphic driver ( excluding CCC n rest)?

Crash logs after a BSoD often point to certain files or drivers. But in some cases, the root cause of the BSoD is actually an overheating CPU. Check it's temperature when using hardware acceleration, Catalyst Control Center/AMD Settings, converting files, or anything else that could possibly cause your CPU to work harder. Anything above 80 degrees celsius (176 F) is too hot.

If it IS getting too hot, check that your thermal paste hasn't dried up. If the paste is ok but your CPU is still overheating, then you'll have to get a better cooler.

    Hi,

I have the same problem with BSOD.
    Can you provide any assistance?
What is curious is tha after BSOD when I press the restart button from desktop no BSOD appears. It seems that appears only after shutting down the PC.
    Zip file is attached.

    Thanks in advance
    Spiros
