Please uninstall Daemon Tools. It uses a driver called sptd.sys which is known to cause BSODs in Windows 7.

Uninstall the software using Add/Remove Programs. Reboot the system. Once the program is uninstalled, run sptd.sys uninstaller to remove the driver from your system.

As an alternative, many people recommend the use of Total Mounter or Magic ISO

Perform a Clean boot:Reduce items at start-up. No software except anti-virus is required plus doing this improves the time for logging into windows:Please remove Norton for testing purpose.

Microsoft Security Essentials is recommended from a strict BSOD perspective, compatibility & stability
compared to other antivirus or internet security software. It is free and lightweight:-

Do not start the free trial of Malware Bytes; remember to deselect that option when prompted.

Make scans with the following:

Kaspersky TDSSKillerESET online scanner: Check for update of the driver(s) below:

vcsvad.sys Sun Nov 16 15:51:18 2008 (491FED16)
Avnex Ltd. Virtual Audio Device
Driver Reference Table - vcsvad.sys

Sometimes drivers remain, not completely uninstalled. Follow this tutorial for complete removal of drivers of the particular program: How to Clean Left Over Driver Files with Driver SweeperUse Revo Uninstaller to uninstall stubborn software. Opt for Advance Mode while uninstalling which allows you to remove leftover registry:-Run Disk Check on your Hard Drive for file system errors and bad sectors on it:Upload a screenshot of your hard disk using Crystal Disk Info:Check for heating issues using Speccy or HWMonitor. Upload a screen shot with either of the tools:
