    Random BSOD on GT70 2OD

    hi
    i bought a MSI gt70 a month a go. i've been getting BSODs since... i've already taken it to the reseller's customer support center 3 times.
    1) it originally had win 8. all they did was refresh the windows.
    2) they installed win 8.1 on it but it didn't solve anything.
    3) they installed win 7 on it and informed me that all the drivers on msi's website for win8/8.1 have some kind of conflict with each other but 7 drivers are ok and that they've tested this on 3 other laptops and got the same results.
    yesterday after i got it back i installed watch dogs on it & got a blue screen, then i got another one while i was away but dota 2 was running. logging wasn't enabled for the first two BSODs. after this i figured i might as well update the VGA driver since its already broken so i got the latest one from nvidia.
    Dump files + extra info also attached to the post
    i think the first one is before upgrading the driver and the next 3 are from after the upgrade.
    the 2nd and the 3rd one were from dota 2 and the 4th one happened just as windows recovered from the 3rd one. (not even in game)

    i've already searched around and seen people with the same problem but my dump files on win 7 don't mention any drivers (they did on win8 and 8.1 tho)

    thanks in advance

    You are having a Bugcheck 3B, for which the probable causes are System service, Device driver, graphics driver, memory. (source: BSOD Index)
    But your crash dump is not indicating anything specifically.

    In such a situation, it is the best to turn Driver Verifier on.

    ok thanks.
    after creating this thread i reverted back to the old drivers (system restore) ,ran dota 2 again and got another BSOD with the code 4E which again points to malfunctioning drivers ... could this be a hardware issue?
    back in win 8 every driver was causing a crash, even the ntfs.sys

    Its possible, try running these tests:

    Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

    RAM - Test with Memtest86+

    i tried turning verifier on again and got a BSOD right after its reboot. this time i managed to read iaStorA.sys somewhere in the bottom. it didn't generate any dump file tho maybe bcs windows wasnt even loaded yet.
    i've got 2 IRST drivers listed here : http://www.msi.com/support/nb/GT70_2...-driver&Win764
    and almost 20 or more on intel's website.
    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Sea...age+Technology
    i tried installing in 16mb one from msi. apparently its already installed so i chose the repair option

    EDIT:
    now after each reboot it takes 3-4 bsods to get into windows. it still doesn't say which driver is causing it. i also started getting an unhandled exception error from .Net Framework on each successful boot after a bsod :
    Code:
    See the end of this message for details on invoking
    just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
        <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.
