    Computer freezes when i try to download a game


    so it either freezes or goes to a blue screen, i used that sf diagnostic tool, says to zip the log and rename it to my username, i hope i did it right Attachment 326805 plus when i used the diagnostic tool i got a message saying im missing wevtapi.dll, thanks for the help :)

    Hi Vancity99.

    Test the HDD using Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows. Take bot hte short test and the extended test.

    If it is passed, it will be the best and easiest for you to resolve all the possible errors in a single go is to perform a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 using a SP1 disc, and make the installation driver complete itself as guided in the guide.

    Because, the issue is storage related; and if the physical storage drive is good, the issue will be with the controller. Here it controller is NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller which is not possible to find updates. So it is best to have a clean install with the windows system native drivers those does not fail.
