BSOD playing Arkham city with 360 controller

I used to crash to bsod every once in a while when watching youtube videos and installing the new windows updates seemed to fix the issue for a while. Havent crashed in a while until just yesterday. I was playing Metro last light with a new 360 controller i purchased (i also have a new corsair m65 i just got) and I got BSOD. Restarted the pc and got bsod while it was booting windows. Had to restart it about 4 times to get back to my desktop and i decided to just watch videos and go to sleep. The next day i tried playing arkham city with the controller and it crashed about 15 mins in to blue screen. Then just like last time it crashed at windows boot up about 3 times, then crashed 3 more times on the desktop and finally booted up and is stable right now so I figured i better make a post while i can. Ive added a zip of the minidump files and the dm log collector files. Specs: Intel core 2 extreme cpu x9650, 8gb ram, NVIDIA geforce gtx 465, windows 7 64 bit. If you need any more information let me know. I appologize if i messed something up this is my first post. Any help is appreciated

Hi pjustin57.

Some things are looking interesting in your data, specially for a series of stop 0x3B BSODs.

Can you post a report following Windows Genuine and Activation Issue Posting Instructions ?

Hi pjustin57, welcome to 7F!

Unfortunately your OEM bios shows that the version being used was installed 6 months before Windows 7 was released.

You will have to obtain, install and validate a copy of 7 before we can help you further.

There are ways, IF you have a valid Product Key and COA: Clean Install Windows 7

The balls in your court, what would you like to do?

It would help to have more information on the machine. This is a little sparse to do any technical research

The easiest way is to populate the SF system spec on your login. Follow the guide, download the utility, collect the info and let the utility fill in your specs.

Please add your SF Systems Specs by following this tutorial: System Info - See Your System Specs
  • In the System Manufacturer/Model Number field, manually type Desktop or Laptop adding it to the information already in the field.

  • Specify Custom Build as the manufacturer if it is not an OEM machine.

  • The tool does not fill in this information but it is very important if someone has to research drivers or hardware for your machine.
Log on to Sevenforums (SF) and let the tool fill in you System specs on your SF profile.

Full instructions are in the tutorial. It's a simple process and it makes that information readily available on your posts. You don't have to retype the information in any thread.

Click here to view your system specs on SevenForums.

Click on My System Specs in the lower left of any post by any member to see what is presented about their machine.

Please also follow this tutorial to provide the current operating environment of your machine.
Speccy - Publish Snapshot of your System Specs

Thanks

There's actually no problem with the MGADiag report - it's showing as a retail (probably upgrade?) version, where the BIOS date shown in MGADiag is irrelevant.

I purchased this build from a friend who runs a pc repair shop and they have dozens of keys. I can be positive it's a legit copy, buy I'm pretty sure it is.

Okay Justin, please follow Slartybart's instructions,

And, you will need to follow the instructions here: Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions and post the report.

How long ago did you get your machine, is it still under warranty?
