Now I'm more confused. I'm getting the WHEA error again.

I've run the Intel CPU diagnostic and nothing showed up.

Here is the latest WHEA error and the Intel Diagnostic Results

Ugh! Back to the GSkill memory. I was getting a WHEA error everytime I booted with the Corsair(??)

Do you get less WHEA errors with the G Skill? I know you aren't overclocking, but a lot of that stuff is discussed in the overclocking community, Some say it means nothing and some believe it means you're not stable even if you pass all the stress tests they run. But, I honestly don't know what would be causing it. If you get a lot of them you could try increasing the voltage to the ram slightly and see if that stops them.

I don't get a lot of them and have booted many times today trying different things in the BIOS and only got one since I reinstalled the GSkill, and that was at one (of many) startup. I was getting them every time at boot with the Corsair.

It may mean there is something else, even something flakey in the motherboard. I've got an ASRock Z77 motherboard that I could use but I would lose Windows 7 as it is an OEM. Long story on the ASRock M/B, suffice to say it had 2 bad memory slots when I got it but the "new" place I bought it after getting an RMA said there were bent pins on the CPU slot (there wasn't) and finally ASRock replaced it under warranty. But I needed a system for my recording studio so I bought another M/B, this Gigabyte that I'm using.

Run them in native mode (1666 ?) and see if you still get the errors. There's nothing good about cache errors even if they are corrected. You could lose a lot of CPU cycles for each error. (1,000 cycles comes to mind but I forget.)

I haven't gotten any since this morning. I've rebooted several times with the GSkill reinstalled. I've been up on this current boot about 6 hours and no WHEA errors.

I have it set to notify me if a WHEA error occurs.

Things are looking up this morning. No WHEA errors since it was powered on, two hours ago.

That's good to hear, Jack. Just for the record, could you detail your current setup?

Keep us posted, Ken

My current setup is the original setup with the GSkill memory, set to run at full speed.
