BSOD caused by NETIO.sys

Hi, I've been plagued by BSOD starting a couple of days back, intially I thought it was caused when I'm running Google Chrome, but it seem to just happen every now and then when I'm not actually running anything much at all.

A bluescreenview run shows me the error is caused by NETIO.sys and ntoskrnl.exe. I've searched over the net on similar problems and tried tons of simple solutions, like using Malwarebytes, scanning multiple times for virus, SFC scanning, and stuffs. I've also attempted to update as many drivers as I could find, but the problem still isn't going away.

Attached is the minidump file from the latest crash. And I'm not sure if it's related or not, my Google Chrome has been kind of iffy with it's extensions as of late because of all these BSOD crashes, my extensions will disappear by themselves, but they return to their original state when I re-download them.

Please do inform if you need any more information regarding this, and I thank you in advance for reading and helping with this problem.

Edit : Changed the minidump file to the DM Log collector file for a clearer view of the problem.

Sorry for another post, but it seems that my last edit isn't taking effect, so I'll post with the attachment of the DM Log Collector file once again just in case.

See if an update is available for the HotspotShiled driver - if not, uninstall it. Its a known cause of BSOD.

Check for updates for the CFOSS driver.

I suspect CFOSS and Hotspot are clashing with your Realtek driver. A better option would be to uninstall these and see if the system is more stable.

Thanks for the reply and help! I've already done all the actions mentioned above, switched AVG for MSE, and uninstalled both HSS and CFOSS. I'll report back in about 5 days if nothing's wrong or when the next BSOD comes up, whichever comes first, hopefully it's the former.

Aaaaand it hasn't gone away, it seems. This time the BSOD happened when I was away from the computer, with Chrome and utorrent being the only major active programs. Could they be the source of the problem?

Here's the log file again.

Although the Realtek driver seem reasonably up-to-date, WinDBG blames it for the BSOD.

Download a fresh driver by following the link below, then install it over the top of the existing one.

Yeah, I think I've found the problem, it really was utorrent. After doing some bandwidth settings changes to it and disabling Teredo like I read while looking around on the web, I haven't had a crash for almost a whole day now.

I'll just reinstall the Realtek driver for good measures, and I'll mark this as solved if I don't get another BSOD for the next two days or so.

Thanks a lot for your time Golden! It was thanks to you I could narrow down the faults and find the problem, and I probably won't have to worry about a BSOD in the future caused by any of these problems you found.
