I did a fresh install and everything is fine. I think what the problem was, is that even though most everything was "plug in play" I still installed my Chipset and Other drivers from my mobo CD, and there was conflict. I did everything the same this time other than that, I am even running beta sound drivers. Just over 24 hours now without a crash.
Hi Odelay, good to hear you fixed your issues (at least I hope you haven't had any more bad luck!).
I'm actually having exactly the same problem as you are - when i saw this thread I noticed everything was the same. My Windows 7 64 bit install will crash after just 20 seconds whenever I start up - it just dies, no BSOD, no logs, no nothing - the PC doesn't even power itself down properly.
I thought I had downloaded new drivers for my motherboard, put perhaps I missed some... I listed my specs, would you mind taking a look to see if the motherboard or anything else is the same? I'm starting to think that must be the problem.
Hopefully I can shed some light on this VERY irritating problem!
