I tried to borrow an old 460 GTX (with faulty fans in it) and installed the 340.## driver, my desktop survived much longer than I thought.
Though I don't get it, just a month ago I was told there was nothing wrong with it when I brought it to the servicing center. I don't know if he didn't do enough tests with it or is some other hardware of mine failing somewhere. The logs and dmp files so far simply pointed the fault at my GPU?
Edit: Been nearly two hours (half playing Diablo 3 half surfing in Firefox) and haven't crashed yet.

So you can see that a GPU even having a faulty fan works better that that one.
I have you decided your further course of action. RMA the GPU.
Just bought a 750Ti, looking good for now.
I'll see how this goes for a week.
Been a week, still looking good. Though I suspect there are still some instabilities around and might just surface a month later or so, but still thank you for identifying the problem. Hopefully I don't have to return here again for the same issue.
