What Power Supply do you have? Some power supplies cause BSODs with Haswell because they are not Haswell certified. Haswell uses less power than the supplies can go. Some have a limit of "if it goes lower than this, shut off".
The easiest way is to set the hard drive to never sleep, that's what I do. With an SSD, sleep is not really that necessary. It takes you what, about 25 seconds to start up? Plus it loads all your drivers again. There are a lot of options in advanced power settings that you can control it the way you want it. If you want to try that I can tell you how.
