    The reason I keep asking about the power supply is that Dell like most pre made computer companies use the lowest power cheapest power supply they can get away with.
    Their is a excellent chance that your video card will require a better power supply or it will not work properly.

    Some where on that power supply is a sticker giving the specs of the power supply.

    PSU is hard to find other than opening the case and looking at the tag to see what Watts is shows,
    According to this,
    Dell XPS 8700 Special Edition's review: A little less performance for a lot less cash | PCWorld
    It might have a meager 460 watt power supply,
