BSOD when using Chrome (atikmdag.sys)

Hey, I am unable to pinpoint exactly when this BSOD occurs, but it seems like it happens most often when i'm browsing the internet with multiple streaming sites, or something that uses flash is open.

Im fairly certain this BSOD is related to my AMD drivers, but I have updated them a few times and the BSOD still occurs.

There are old dumps included in the zip file as well. Those issues have already been solved.

Thanks,

Matt

All of your dump files list your graphics driver with the exception of 1 .

Code:
lmvm atikmdag
start end module name
fffff880`1300c000 fffff880`13fb5000 atikmdag T (no symbols)
    Loaded symbol image file: atikmdag.sys
    Image path: atikmdag.sys
    Image name: atikmdag.sys
    Timestamp: Fri Jun 20 21:36:23 2014 (53A4EFA7)

    Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
that's your graphics driver and needs to be updated. When you do, uninstall your current drivers then follow this Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling That is what all the dump files blame, except the next one which may or may not have been a victim instead of the cause. Then install the drivers you have already downloaded from Latest AMD Catalyst Video Driver for Windows 7 , During the process only install what you use. Normally only the graphics driver is needed. CCC is not needed.

Code:
lmvm cmdguard
start end module name
fffff880`01938000 fffff880`019f1000 cmdguard T (no symbols)
    Loaded symbol image file: cmdguard.sys
    Image path: cmdguard.sys
    Image name: cmdguard.sys

That is your Comodo Firewall Pro Sandbox Driver

My drivers are updated

Thanks for the help, however like I mentioned in my post, I have already updated to the lastest drivers that AMD offers.

When scanning for outdated drivers, AMD presented me with a message stating that I have the latest driver version for my system.

I filled out my system specs with the tool you mentioned as well.

Cmatt, whatever drivers you have, they crashed. The point was to be sure you have a clean install. When you uninstall the older drivers from add/remove programs, there are still parts of the older drivers left over. They can cause conflicts with new drivers. So the link I gave you was to uninstall the older drivers and clean out as much of them as possible before installing the new ones. When installing the new drivers, select custom install and only install what you use. You do not need the HDMI or Audio drivers as your motherboard already has them, and installing them can cause a conflict with the motherboard drivers. You don't need CCC either, just the display driver is all that you really need.

Oh, I see. Sorry for the confusion.

I will try that now and let you know if any other BSOD's occur.

Thank you,

Matt

No problem. I just wanted to explain a little. I hope it works just when you clean the drivers, only check ATI display drivers.
