I would suggest you consider adding intake fans to the case to provide cool air and trying an aftermarket heatsink and fan, and cleaning the old paste off and adding new paste using the method in the video.

Well for my 2 cents worth I have to agree with what essenbe ahs told you but will add that before I use the Arctic Silver compound I use the cleaning kit form the same people to clean and "prepare" the surfaces of the heatsink and cooler plate. Arctic Silver Incorporated - ArctiClean

What I do and this is just me and as essenbe says an art once you have a good system of doing it - is to get a vinyl glove and use the whole thing or cut a finger off and when the surface is prepared smooth a little of the compound thinly over the entire surface of the heatsink and the cooler plate, and just before replacing the two together add a rice grain size piece of compound to the centre of the heatsink (CPU) and replace the cooler. and fix down as normal. The rice grain piece of compound will quite quickly "bleed" out across the surfaces when the CPU starts to heat up ensuring an even coverage which only needs to be very thin as it is just the microscopic marks and dips in the surfaces that require filling in to maximize the heat transfer.

The case I am not familiar with and essenbe would be far more knowledgable than I at advising you re other cooling feature but for me I am an avid fan of fans LOL!! the more the merrier but please don't go by what I say it is really down to common sense.

I will be buying the parts when Thanksgiving comes around, to save some money. Since it's going to be awhile, I will just mark this thread as solved, and make a new thread if I need help again.

Thanks for all the help.

Whatever you would like, but fans are cheap and thermal paste is around $10 and you can get a good CPU cooler for probably around $30. So, maybe $50 max and may solve your problem. Good luck to you.
