Bluescreen today, while wife was on Facebook

Don't have a lot of details, but my wife was on our PC looking at Facebook when she got bluescreened. She tried to get a picture of the screen, but it went away too quick for her.

    Thanks in advance,
    Mike

    atikmpag.sys Thu Mar 29 07:09:06 2012 (4F73B632)
ATI Video driver (remove the Catalyst Control Center and only install the Display Driver)
    Driver Reference Table - atikmpag.sys

    atikmdag.sys Thu Mar 29 07:54:02 2012 (4F73C0BA)
ATI Video driver (remove the Catalyst Control Center and only install the Display Driver)
    Driver Reference Table - atikmdag.sys

Update the ATI drivers and see if that helps.

Sometimes drivers remain, not completely uninstalled. Follow this tutorial for complete removal of drivers of the particular program: How to Clean Left Over Driver Files with Driver Sweeper

Use Revo Uninstaller to uninstall stubborn software. Opt for Advance Mode while uninstalling which allows you to remove leftover registry:-

On Saturday I received an alert from windows that said there was a problem with something ATI video related, I can't remember exactly. I went ahead and updated the driver software. It's been OK since.

How do I determine if i need to remove the old video drivers?
