BSOD after power surge STOP 0x50 Can't boot into safe mode

Hello, I am unable to get into safe mode to deliver some more data on the BSOD.. Any help on next steps?

This is the error that I see.

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

    STOP: 0x00000050 (0xFFFFF901C0643DCC, 0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFF960000DCCA3, 0x0000000000000005)

Any help? I can get to the automated system recovery but I can't seem to get to any safe mode, or get a dump from the BSOD.. I did see it say Win32k.sys one time but it still seems to throw the 0x50. I'm currently running a memory check. Any other help would be appreciated!

You cannot boot into safe mode too?

It is very difficult to suggest anything to you, because without checking a crash dump it will be a guesswork only.

Lately a lot of users got stop 0x50 BSODs after a windows update. Rebuilding the font cache solved their issue. Go to C:\Windows\System32\ and delete the "Fntcache.dat" file there. Then restart the computer. On restart, a fresh font cache will be built. But as you cannot boot into safe mode too, you may try a bootable linux like Puppy to do it.

    Does it do any help?

I can't even get into safe mode but I can get into startup repair where I'm able to get into a command prompt. I noticed the startup repair states that it cannot repair the problem automatically. Looking at the details it gives StartupRepairOffline 21200558 AutoFailover BadDriver.

I was able to delete the fontcache as you suggested. I rebooted into windows and It worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you have any place I can donate to you? I'd like to pay you for your services!!

The way you donate on this forum is to help others when you can. Also in the upper right corner of that post by Arc you can tick on the scales (the middle one) and give Arc a rep.

    Glad you are fixed.

Very good news. Now observe the situation for a couple of more days. If teh issue does not bounce back, please mark this thread as solved.
