No problem mate. You may take the necessary time. It would be the best if you take a camera snap of the memtest86+ screen after completing 8 passes and before closing the program window.

But if it crashes again too, report it to us.

Memtest86+ runs at its own, totally outside of windows. So when memtest86+ is being frozen, it must be hardware. As it is happening during memory usage, better you replace the RAM.

After a qucik search in the forum, I saw that clearing CMOS solves the problem. I will give it a shot. If it happens again i will try to do the test for each ram. Maybe there is a problem with the slots or sticks. I will let you know. Thank you for your patience.

Well done. Clearing COMS is not a bad idea at all.

Bad news: Cleaning cmos doesn't help.
good news: my rams were inserted into slots 1 and 3. I changed it to 2 and 4 although 1 and 3 is suggested in the manual(yellow dimms). Freezing problem is solved. I will wait until 8 passes, then if there's no problem will check if bsods appear again. My problem may be solved. Thanks again. I will let you know this night.

Have been getting BSODs for years!
My computer is fairly old (3-5 years). It's a custom build from computerlx.com. Ever since I received it, I have been getting BSODs. The Mac is gone (after 24 years)
As per heading the Mac computer system is no longer taking up space on my desk. It wasn't easy, but I did it (going through withdrawal at present time). Gave it to my youngest son (39) because he like me was (he still is) a huge Mac user. (See "specs") on what I have now. The one way of...

Recent spate of BSoDs with various error codes after 2 clean years
