    BSOD 0xA0000001 at random times

Hey there Community, I need your help.

Since yesterday, I have the problem that I get a BSOD at random times.
When I open the Windows Media Player, sometimes it crashes, sometimes it doesnt.

Here the Error Report WhoCrashed gave me:

On Fri 05.09.2014 10:51:49 GMT your computer crashed
    crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\090514-9406-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: atikmdag.sys (atikmdag+0x28ECE)
    Bugcheck code: 0xA0000001 (0x5, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0)
    Error: CUSTOM_ERROR
    file path: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\atikmdag.sys
    product: ATI Radeon Family
    company: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
description: ATI Radeon Kernel Mode Driver
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: atikmdag.sys (ATI Radeon Kernel Mode Driver, Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.).
Google query: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. CUSTOM_ERROR

    Im waiting for your answers

PS: I have attached a zip with the information from my computer

Hi, I'll fill in for Harrie as he is offline right now. He was correct in you needing to update or reinstall your graphics driver, but I would like you to do it in a specific way. I would like to try for the cleanest install possible and also not install anything which you don't need and can cause conflicts with other drivers. I would also suggest if you do have the most current driver, find an earlier version, or if there is a newer WHQL version, use that. Here is what I would like for you to do.

I am going to give you some links that will help you get a good clean install and not have any drivers you don't need that will conflict with other drivers. Download a WHQL driver from https://www.sevenforums.com/graphic-c...ndows-7-a.html . Once you have them downloaded, uninstall you current driver from control panel. next clean up any left over drivers from following this tutorial Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling and select only ATI Display Drivers. After you have done that and rebooted, install the new driver, only select custom install and install only what you have to. Very few people need most of what they include. You do not need the audio/HDMI drivers as you already have that in your Motherboard drivers. Unless there is some reason you need them, the only thing you really need is the Display Driver.

Here are the results of your dump files

    Code:
     atikmdag
    Unknown option 'V'
    start end module name
    0: kd> lmvm atikmdag
    start end module name
    fffff880`0f2dc000 fffff880`101ec000 atikmdag T (no symbols)
        Loaded symbol image file: atikmdag.sys
        Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\atikmdag.sys
        Image name: atikmdag.sys
        Timestamp: Thu Apr 17 21:13:16 2014 (53508A3C)
        CheckSum: 00EAEEE6
        ImageSize: 00F10000
        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
Very pertinent in your case is

    Code:
Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.
    BugCheck A0000001, {5, 0, 0, 0}
    Probably caused by : atikmdag.sys ( atikmdag+28ece )
The code in red above is specific to AMD Graphics cards. It can mean either software or hardware, so we need to make every effort to resolve it with software. If you are overclocking it, please set it back to default levels.
