    BSOD when computer goes idle

My computer seems to regularly get BSOD after it goes into idle mode for a while. It's been like this since I got the computer. I installed a better graphics card on day one so I'm not positive if that's the reason. It never happens for anything else. Only when it goes idle for a long time.

One thing I can note is that it wont happen if the computer goes idle while having youtube or any video streaming open.

Really hoping I can fix this. Any help is appreciated.

The issue is caused by NCH Software Suite, Sound tap driver Upper Class Filter Driver v2.0.0.0,
    c:\windows\system32\drivers\stdriver64.sys
    Code:
    BugCheck 1000007E, {ffffffffc0000005, fffff880051561e0, fffff88002a48748, fffff88002a47fa0}

    Probably caused by : stdriver64.sys ( stdriver64+131e0 )

    Followup: MachineOwner
    ---------
The driver seems to be old.
    Code:
        Image name: stdriver64.sys
        Timestamp: Fri Mar 18 05:47:45 2011
Try to update the program. Record Streaming Audio - Streaming Audio Capture Software

Also free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

    1. Click on the Start button
    2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
    3. Select the “Startup” tab.
    4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
    5. Apply > OK
    6. Accept then restart.

    Let us know the result.
