Sure, thanks, here's another Speccy file... No new hardware or software has been installed yet; the only "proper" application software I installed so far is the simulation software (to mimic real use). New processor or mainboard, that's the big question... Too bad there ain't some kind of clever LED that would just tell technically challenged users "swap me" ; )

Sure, I run it once again and come back right away, also with the processor's temperature.

Now this is most peculiar... Like in my post #2, I either obtain a BSOD 0x124 or a pass. Temperature maxed out at 54C at crash time.

So, like after the "total reinstall" that started this new thread, the processor is shown to be faulty and ok at the same time!?

Okay there is nothing shown that would indicate a bad processor here.

However it could be a the Motherboard that is faulty here.

Il ask essenbe to add his opinon

Cheers; the sooner I know what to replace, the better. For the technically challenged, it is most puzzling if sometimes IPDT throws a 0x124 BSOD and sometimes a pass - there is just no pattern or regularity in all of this, compared to a car where you just hear or smell what's wrong ; )
