    BSOD randomly, cannot find/create minidump

    Facts:
    • Completely random BSOD - during video games, no usage, or streaming video.
    • Video card fan sounds noiser that it should.
    • Computer had cooling problems (I have fixed this issue)
    • Dual Screens: flickering occurs occasionally with horizontal lines when scrolling through pages when Multitasking I believe,
    • Minidump is not created after crash even though I set it to create them in c:\windows\minidump

BSOD Screen (Older 1st & New 2nd) & DM Log Collector Data in Attachments
Thanks for helping me! I am a fast learning noob. Please let me know if you need more information

    Hi blosserlp.

Crash dumps should be there, because ....
Follow it: Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD
Go to Option Two, Point 2. Download the .reg file and merge it in registry by double clicking it.

Now wait for another BSOD. When it occurred, search the .dmp files manually in the default path: C:\Windows\Minidump or %SystemRoot%\Minidump. See if the crash dump is recorded or not (hopefully it will be recorded).Post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.

Dont run any disc cleanup program before you upload another zip.

Hi blosserlp - I'll try help out whilst we wait for Arc.

    Code:

The video card seems to be the cause of the issue, however, I notice that Windows 7 is missing a significant number of updates.

You should firstly update Windows completely. If you then receive another BSOD after that, upload it here for us to look at.
